Short bio

Sajina Tinku received her B. Tech degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Calicut University (India) in 2005 and her joint European MS degree in Nanotechnology for Integrated systems from Politecnico di Torino (Italy), Institut National Politecnic Grenoble (France) and Ecole Politecnic Federale Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2009. During September 2009, she joined the biotechnology startup, Molecular Stamping Srl at Trento, Italy as a junior researcher where she was mainly involved in the design and optimization of photoresist masks for space confinement of biomaterials. During this period, she also provided technical contributions to the FP7 HiperDART project which developed higher standard microarray technology platform for clinical applications. She is currently a PhD student with the University of Trento and her research is based within the BioMEMS group at FBK (Fondazione Bruno Kessler), Trento, Italy under the supervision of Dr. Leandro Lorenzelli and Dr. Ravinder Dahiya. Her research interests are in the area of High-performance wearable electronic and sensing systems, in particular, human health monitoring using smart contact lens platform.
