Severino Pedrotti was born in Trento, Italy, in 1961. After  the diploma in Chemistry  he attended a course  in Biomedical Laboratory at the S. Chiara Hospital (1983-1985). He joined ITC-irst in 1985, he initially was involved in chemical analysis (XRD, SEM, XRF). Since 1989 he works in the Micro-Integration System Division from the start-up of  the clean-room and equipment set-up to microelectronic process develop. He graduated in “Tecniche di Laboratorio Biomedico” in 2006  at the University of Siena, he attend a Master in Biotechnology in 2007 at the University of Urbino. . His present interest is mainly in the Wafer Level Package and micro fluidic platform for BioMEMS and Lab-on-a-Chip device.
